Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Brass has announced that their 2nd Solo, Duet & Quartet Contest will be held on Saturday 22nd June, at the Speedwell Rooms, Staveley in Derbyshire.
Looking to build
A spokesperson told 4BR: "We would like to build on last year’s success after receiving 92 entries across 11 sections."
This year’s categories range from Junior Slow Melody Under 10 to Air Varie, duets and quartets.
Match success
With medals for prize winners, event organiser, Joy Newbould told 4BR: "Last year was a fantastic success. We had great feedback from all who entered and we would like to match that success this year too."
