New generation composer Peter Meechan's music features in the libraries of ensembles ranging from Foden's and Black Dyke to the Band of the Coldstream Guards, the BBC Concert Orchestra ando Canadian trumpet star Jens Lindemann.

He holds the post of Musical Associate at Foden's Band and talks to Frank Renton about his growing international reputation, his admiration for the music of Edward Gregson and the recent CD of his major work, 'The Legend of King Arthur'
