Set works

The evening will feature the set works for the First, Second, Third and Fourth Sections and will feature Haslingden & Helmshore, Littleborough and Whitworth themselves, as well as welcome Fourth Section contest debutants, Stacksteads.

It all starts at 7.30pm at The Riverside, Whitworth Civic Hall, Market Street, Whitworth. OL12 8DP. Entrance will cost £3.00

Success

Dave Tattersall told 4BR: "After the successful of a similar venture last year for the National Finals, when all the bands that performed on our preview evening finished in the top four in their section, we are pleased to be able to run the event once more."

Each band will play a concert item followed by their test piece.
