The long running Ipswich Charity Concert Committee has announced details of its concerts for 2013, which sees Black Dyke and Fairey visit the city’s Corn Exchange in June and October this year.

Committee secretary, Tim Mutum told 4BR: "We are delighted to be welcoming these two very fine bands to Ipswich again. We are also very grateful for the continued financial support from Ipswich Borough Council for these concerts to take place."
Beneficiaries from the concerts will be Suffolk Family Carers, the Level Two Youth Project, Felixstowe, Seafarers UK and SSAFA Forces Help.

Last year’s concerts, featuring the Leyland Band and the Cory Band raised £2,500 for charity, whilst since 1990 the Ipswich Charity Concert Committee has presented 48 concerts and raised £72,525 for various good causes.
