Durham Association set for contest day

The Durham County Brass Band Association Contest is due to take place in Peterlee in early February.

The annual Durham County Brass Band Association contest is due to take place on 3rd February at the East Durham College Willerby Grove, Peterlee SR8 2RN starting at 10.15am.

Own choice selections

Organisers have informed 4BR that there is ample car parking space and refreshments available, whilst 13 bands have confirmed their entry to the own choice event, which will feature music as diverse as ‘Little Suite for Brass’ by Malcolm Arnold to ‘The Plantagenet’s’ by Edward Gregson.
