Brass at the Guild Hall contest details announced.

The full list of competing bands has been released for the forthcoming Brass at the Guild contest at the Guild Hall in Preston on February 3rd.

Popular

The popular pre-regional contest supported by Lancashire Contests this year sees bands given the opportunity to play the test pieces from either Butlins or the regional set work in their respective sections.

Adjudicating throughout the day will be Derek Broadbent, Gordon Higginbottom, Mike Kilroy and Mark Wilkinson.

Prize money

The results and prize presentation will take place at the conclusion of each section with the prize money along with various trophies for all of the sections coming in at a healthy £400, £200 and £150 for each section.
