Bond heads musical line at Severn Tunnel

Composer Christopher Bond has taken over the musical helm at the Severn Tunnel Band.

The Severn Tunnel Band has announced the appointment of composer Christopher Bond as their new conductor.

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama student currently studies under John Hardy and Dr. Robert Spearing and has composed and arranged music for many different ensembles ranging from solo works to chamber works, orchestral works, choral works and brass band.

His latest composition — a trombone concerto entitled ‘Nexus’ is to be premiered by Stephen Sykes next month.
