London confirms BBP Registry requirement

Bands wishing to take part in the London & Southern Counties Regional Championship need to be signed by with the Brass Band Players Registry.

It has been confirmed to 4BR that bands wishing to enter the London & Southern Counties Regional Championship must be registered with Brass Band Players Ltd Registry if they are to take part in the event.

Stevenage

The Championship takes place at the Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre over the weekend of March 16th/17th 2013 with the official closing date for entries confirmed as the 26th January.

Regional Secretary Dave Hobbs told 4BR: "The decision has been made and has been communicated to bands as well as being published on our website."

He added: "We have had no problems and we are looking forward to another excellent weekend of music making in Stevenage in March. Bands are reminded to ensure that they do get their entry forms to us by the closing date."
