International trombone star Lito Fontana has just helped play a part in a very special birthday party for the great Australian multi instrumentalist James Morrison.
50th birthday
Lito formed part of a 50th birthday concert performance at Melk Abbey, the beautiful monastic abbey on the banks of the River Danube in Lower Austria, which is a protected Unesco World Heritage site.
He was joined by superstar performers Gabor Kollmann, Martin Fuss, Aneel Soomary, Harry Sokal and Hans Gansch to help James celebrate in the best possible fashion – by performing on sponsors Schagerl instruments.
It was an honour to be able to perform in such a special way for such a special musician and friend. To be joined by such great musicians was very humbling and to play at such a wonderful venue made it a memorable occasionLito Fontana
