Hackett heads for a Newport of call

Trombonist Robin Hackett is the new MD of Newport Borough Band.

Newport Borough Band has announced the appointment of Robin Hackett as their new Musical Director.

Experience

The former solo trombone player of Tongwynlais Temperance is currently playing for the City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) Band and has gained considerable experience with his spells at both Cory and Tredegar.

We are looking forward to working with Robin and are excited to see what the future has in store for the band. We wish him a long and happy association with NewportNewport Borough Band
