Lundberg joins Fairey trom team

Rebecca Lundberg has made the official move from Carlton Main Frickley to Fairey.

The Fairey Band has announced the official appointment of Rebecca Lundberg as their new solo trombone.

National debut

Rebecca joins from Carlton Main Frickley Colliery and replaces Ryan Watkins who left the Stockport band following their appearance at the British Open.

Rebecca is an award winning musician having gained a First Class Honours degree, the Harry Mortimer Prize and the Studio Music Prize for Brass Band Arranging from Huddersfield UniversityFairey Band

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Rebecca is an award winning musician having gained a First Class Honours degree, the Harry Mortimer Prize and the Studio Music Prize for Brass Band Arranging from Huddersfield University.

Her first contest outing in the blue and gold was at London and we wish her a long and happy association with the Fairey Band."
