The Vernon Building Society Poynton Band recently held a concert with a difference in aid of the Seashell Trust

The band helped raise funds for the charity based in Cheadle near Hulme that provides educational and residential facilities for children and young people with complex disabilities.

The movie themed concert was a great success with fantastic performances from the band aided by well known local singer Lauren-Lee Broomhead and the Singing Hands Choir, a sign language choir made up of pupils and residents of the Seashell Trust.

Remarkable work

In total over £1,000 was raised to help carry on the remarkable work of the Seashell Trust which will benefit their multi-use games area.
