Applications open on Monday 5th November for bands wanting to enter the increasingly popular UniBrass competition.

Contest

The contest takes place on Saturday 16th February 2013 at Lancaster University Great Hall and is open to all UK university brass bands, with 14 places up for grabs in the Championship Contest and a further 4 places in a new Elite Contest.

Elite contest

The Championship contest will run the same as previous years, with the exception that Conservatoires and Academies of Music will not be allowed to compete in it. Instead these bands will compete in an Elite Contest in the evening.

First come

All places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

The application forms are available on the UniBrass website from the 5th November.

The closing date for entries is the 30th November 2012, so get your entries in quick!
