4BR has been informed that due to the huge demand for places, the annual Brass & Percussion Workshop organised by the Yorkshire & Humberside Brass Band Association is now full up, and unfortunately cannot accept any more participants.

Once more the event has attracted participants from far and wide — attracted by the brilliant tutors from Grimethorpe Colliery Band (above).

We now have over 90 students attending the course and unfortunately we not able to accept any further applicationsPeggy Tomlinson

Peggy Tomlinson, Course Administrator told 4BR: "We now have over 90 students attending the course and unfortunately we not able to accept any further applications.

The course is being lead by Sandy Smith and we are all looking forward to a good day at Minsthorpe Community College on 10th November."
