Excited

The former Black Dyke and Grimethorpe star told 4BR: "I’m very excited to be joining the band, and look forward to my first outing with them at Brass in Concert in November. Working alongside the excellent team of players and conductors will no doubt be both exciting and hopefully rewarding."

He added: "I would also like to thank the Oldham (Lees) Band for making me feel so welcome, and I have loved working with them over the last two years. I wish them all the best for the very bright future they have in front of them."
