Lancing Brass has appointed David Martin as their new Musical Director.

David has taken over from Tim Lincoln turned to the playing ranks on Bb TUBA.

Experience

David is currently the Music Subject Leader at Worthing High School and has also served as Head of Performing Arts at Whitecross School, Lydney. David has conducted several youth bands and choral ensembles, including Cor Glandulais, Pontarddulais and The Gate Community Chorus, Cardiff.

Fitted well

A spokesperson for the band told 4BR: "David, who has fitted in well with Lancing Brass, has taken over for most of the Summer engagements and is now looking forward to a busy Christmas season."
