British Open timpanists will get the chance to play on an extra bit of kit on Saturday thanks to Ray Payne.
The organisers of the British Open Championships have announced that percussion supplier Ray Payne will be providing an extra 32” timpani to be used if required for the set work, ‘Electra’ on Saturday.
The full timpani set now provided will be: 32” 32” 29” 26” 26” 23”.
Ranges:
2 x 32" Db — D
29" F — F
2 x 26" A — G
23" B – B
Also a Mark Tree (Wind Chimes) will also be provided.
