Dobcross Silver Band has announced the signing of three new players.
Cornet and baritone
Kieren Iannidinardi joins as assistant principal cornet with Andy Collins on solo cornet and Alex Henshall on baritone.
Kieren has played for Rochdale Youth, after moving through the various bands Rochdale Music Service had to offer, before becoming principal cornet in the band that won the 2011 Action Medical Research Entertainment Competition.
Thrilled
Kieren told 4BR: "I’m thrilled by the prospect of playing for Dobcross and excited by the potential. I hope to help the band achieve promotion and successful results at upcoming competitions."
He is joined by his friend Andy who also rose through the Rochdale ranks to become principal cornet, including a solo performance at the National Youth Final.
New challenge
Andy added: "I joined Dobcross Silver as I completed my time with Rochdale and wanted a new challenge. Dobcross is a fantastic band with lots of potential, which I’m happy to be part of."

The trio will make their competition debuts at the popular Fleetwood Competition in October.
