The Emley Band will be hosting a ‘Best of the White Rose’ pre National Finals evening of test piece music on Saturday 15th September, at the National Coal Mining Museum at Caphouse Colliery, New Road, Overton, Wakefield, WF4 4RH.
Set works
Starting at 7.00pm, Shepherd Group Brass, City of Bradford, Emley Brass and Linthwaite Brass will take it in turns to perform their Cheltenham set works with respected top section conductor and adjudicator John Roberts giving them all valuable feedback and title challenging advice.
Rest piece choices
The audience can get to hear the set works, ‘VIVAT!’, ‘Academic Festival Overture’, Three Ancient Customs’ and ‘A British Isles Suite’, whilst enjoying a quiet drink in the bar – and all for just £3.00 to get in.
