There are still some places left to join the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) for their Open Day on 7th August.

Invite

Brass and percussion players are invited to come along during the NYBBGB Summer residential course at Wymondham College in Norfolk, to find out more about the band which is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year.

This year the band will be performing at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and in Beccles and the Snape Proms in Suffolk.

We have still got a number of places available. It’s not too late to apply. We are especially looking for talented youngsters from across the region and beyond to attend the band’s Open DayMartin Armstrong

Masterclass

The free NYBBGB Open Day will include a masterclass by a leading musician, opportunities to listen to the band rehearse, to listen to the band’s solo competition, and participate in a question and answer session with the band’s conductor, Bramwell Tovey.

Tutor Martin Armstrong told 4BR: "We have still got a number of places available. It’s not too late to apply. We are especially looking for talented youngsters from across the region and beyond to attend the band’s Open Day.”

More information

The NYBBGB Open Day will be between 10.00am and 4.00pm at Wymondham College.
