Perth 2013 adjudicators announced

International panel of adjudicators set to adjudicate at the 2013 Australian Nationals.

The Western Australian Band Association (WABA) and the 2013 Nationals Organising Committee is pleased to announce that Mr Richard Evans and Dr Rob McWilliams will be the principal adjudicators for the 2013 Yamaha National Band Championships, to be held in Perth, Western Australia, next Easter.

We are looking forward to having a world class event here in Western Australia next year for our first Nationals in 34 yearsPaul De Cinque

Richard Evans will make the long trip out from the UK to adjudicate his first Australian Nationals whilst Dr McWilliams, a native of Melbourne will make the trip from the United States, where he has been a resident since 1991.

Paul De Cinque of the Organising Committee said: “We are looking forward to having a world class event here in Western Australia next year for our first Nationals in 34 years and we are pleased to invite world class adjudicators for the event. Along with great test pieces, venues and organisation, we are ready to show off Perth and the WA Band Association to the rest of the banding community across the region”.

Richard Evans will adjudicate the brass bands and Rob McWilliams will adjudicate the concert bands. Other adjudicators will be announced later in the year.

Alder Valley Brass

June 19 • Bb bass player. We are an ambitious, busy and sociable 2nd section band (L&SC, National finalists 2023) with a varied blend of engagements, concerts and contests. We rehearse 8-10pm Mondays and Thursdays in Farnham, Surrey. Other enquiries welcome.
