The individual Solo Award will be decided by tuba virtuoso Les Neish.
Percentage
Quality of Performance will account for 60% of the marks, while Entertainment & Presentation and Programme Content will be awarded 20% each.
Delighted
Event spokesperson John Woods, told 4BR: "We are delighted to be able to reveal such a high quality panel of judges. Paul Cosh and Luc Vertommen are vastly experienced musicians who will focus purely on the quality of the band’s playing.
Andrew Duncan is an ideal choice as the programme content judge, as a former multiple winner of the new composition prize, while Steve Walker’s vast experience as the Festival Director at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship makes him the perfect appointment as the entertainment judge."
