The death has been announced of one of the great stalwarts of the Welsh banding movement, with the news that Ivor White has passed away at the age of 92.

Passion

Ivor’s lifelong passion for brass banding saw him actively involved with many bands across South Wales, latterly with the Steel Company of Wales Band (BSC Post Talbot and Corus Port Talbot), now Tata Steel.

Funeral

The funeral will be held at Margam Crematorium on Thursday July 12th at 2.30pm.
