Dave Whelan caught the football and brass band bug in his home town of Wigan.

Now owner of Wigan Athletic Football club with successful businesses across the country, he talks of his love and support of local brass bands, his own early trombone playing and of his current project which is set to offer the young people of Wigan exciting sporting and musical opportunities.
