Bond is back

One of the best men in the retail business in back and looking to help Dawson's create a market leading Brass Department.

Gary Bond

For those of you who have been wondering where he had disappeared to, one of the most respected men in retail musical sales has returned, following the news that Gary Bond is now working with Dawsons Music Ltd.

Extensive experience

With over 15 years of extensive experience in the business Gary has taken the perfect opportunity to become Sales Director for a company with an illustrious 100 year plus history.

Over the years Gary has helped countless bands and players with his expert knowledge and advice since graduating from Music College and moving into the world of selling musical Instruments. He has even been known to help the odd band out when short of a cornet player too!

Life long passion

The Grandson of the famous North East conductor and Band Trainer Sam Bond from Ashington, Northumberland, a lifelong passion for brass bands was inevitable, and Gary picked up the cornet at the age of 4, just so that he could join his father and brothers for band practice.

Gary told 4BR: “My role involves global markets while revitalising the Brass and Woodwind side of Dawsons and supporting the Education Department and eleven Dawsons retail shops."

we are keen to complete a comprehensive professional service that fully includes the world of brass so that we can continue to exceed customers expectations from all the musical genresGary Bond

He added: "Dawsons is known as one of the largest Guitar and Hi-Tech dealers in Europe, including Studio Design & Build capabilities, and we are keen to complete a comprehensive professional service that fully includes the world of brass so that we can continue to exceed customers expectations from all the musical genres.”

Regular updates

Gary will be providing 4BR with an up to date with a new angle on the world of brass too, with regular features on what customers can look out for in developments from all the leading manufactures – as well as highlighting some tips on what to look out for in buying instruments.
