The Corus Brass Ensemble will proudly be welcoming the Olympic Torch to their home town of Bolton this week by playing a brand new fanfare written by the group's French horn player and Composer in Residence, John Parkinson.

A crowd of several thousand is expected in Bolton's Victoria Square on Thursday evening as local sports celebrity Amir Khan runs up the Town Hall steps with the torch.
