The Salvation Army Hall in Bishan, Singapore recently played host to a euphonium concert organised by euphonium players Mark Glover and Vincent Tan.
The concert also featured euphonium players Joseph Teo, Su Guobin and Ignatius Wang who performed a selection of solos, duets and ensemble music.
Promote
The concert was put on to help promote the euphonium in Singapore and give local euphonium players a platform on which they can perform.
The concert was free but audience members all donated generously to the Salvation Army charity. Major Paul Herring of the Singapore Central Corps said he was unsure at first about a concert featuring only the euphonium but was extremely impressed by the musicianship of the players.
