The East Anglian Brass Band Association Spring Festival contest took place recently, where the Cawston Band conducted by Leigh Sharpe headed the honours board.

The band took the entertainment and hymn tune awards, along with individual awards for best euphonium and horn as they were crowned 2012 Champion Band of East Anglia.
In the Class A event, the honours went to Harwich RBL conducted by M. Abbott.
