Neish heads into the forest

Tuba star Les Neish heads to Jedforest to inspire yet more performers in the art of the tuba.

Les Neish

Tuba star Les Neish will head to Jedforest Instrumental Band in Scotland later this month where he will be spending time with the younger players of the band's growing organisation to inspire them in one of his famous workshop sessions.

Young and old!

Even some of the adult members of the Scottish Third Section Champion have already booked their places too, as the Besson artist will be there to work with as many player as possible — regardless of age!

He is in my opinion a real inspiration, and I'm sure all our members will take away something to inspire them to achieve great things in the futureStuart Black

Inspirational

Band spokesperson Stuart Black told 4BR: "The band are really looking forward to Les coming up to Jedburgh for the weekend. I can't wait to see what he will bring to the weekend's proceedings. He is in my opinion a real inspiration, and I'm sure all our members will take away something to inspire them to achieve great things in the future."

Stuart added: "A big thank you must also go to Tim Barrett and Besson for agreeing to support the project. It is wonderful that they support such inspirational artists like Les and also education projects at grass roots level."
