The Burry Port Band in West Wales has used a generous donation from the local Burry Port Charity Fund of £500 to plan for their long term future.
Learners
This money has now been put to the purchase of five cornets for young learners — and now the band is looking for just the right young players to take them home and start practising on them!
Brass and snooker
The band's commitment to the future has seen them set up a Junior Band Club each Tuesday, where young players will be given the opportunity to learn to play as well as enjoy a game of snooker if they fancy to relax!
