The British Composer Awards reach their 10th anniversary this year and have announced exciting plans to celebrate this milestone in the history of the event.
New logo

The concert will celebrate British Composer Awards winning works which received their first performances between 2002 and 2011.
Over the life of the British Composer Awards so far, there have been 84 winning composers. More than 2,000 new works have been assessed by over 300 judges.

Spokesperson Sarah Rodgers commented to 4BR: "From a standing start, we sprinted into an annual event which has become the most eagerly anticipated celebratory occasion in the classical music calendar and now as the 10th anniversary event approaches in December 2012, it clearly takes on marathon status!"
