4BR has been informed that entries are invited for the 23rd Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition, which takes place on Saturday 29th September.

Categories are Brass, Piano, Singers, Strings (including guitar and harp), and Woodwind. Competitors may be of any age and nationality and should be of diploma standard. The closing date for entries is 23rd August.
There are 38 prizes and engagements to the value of £8,900 to be won, including solo performances many regional orchestras.

Panel
The adjudicating panel of Kevin Hill MBE (Music Director, Haverhill Sinfonia & Arnold Sinfonia), Ronan O'Hora (Head of Keyboard Studies & Head of Advanced Performance Studies, Guildhall School of Music and Drama) and Gary Ryan (Assistant Head of Strings & Professor of Guitar, Royal College of Music) will decide the prizes.
