14 year old Will Druiett, who was featured in a recent 4BR 'Scouting Report' has become one of the youngest ever players to be signed by National Champions Brighouse & Rastrick.
Principal tuba
Will began playing tuba at the age of 10, and at just 12 was invited to join the National Children’s Orchestra, holding the position of principal tuba player there for two years.
He made his concert debut with the National Champions earlier this year and became the youngest member of the National Youth Orchestra of GB aged just 13.

Will is currently in his second year with the orchestra, and is presently studying for his GCSE’s at Honley High School under the expert eye of Leigh Baker. He also studies musical performance at the Junior Department of the Royal Northern College in Manchester.
Will told 4BR: "Too work with such skilled musicians under Professor David King and with great player in the band is a huge honour."
