Rothwell out of English Nationals

Rothwell Temperance has confirmed that they will not be taking part in the English National Championship.

4BR has been informed that Rothwell Temperance has announced that they will not be competing at this year's English National Championship in Preston in June.

Financial decision

An announcement made on the band's website stated: "The band will not be taking part in the 2012 English Nationals. This has been a purely financial decision, following our qualification for the Albert Hall for the fifth year in a row. We look forward to competing at the English Nationals in 2013."
