Line up confirmed for English National Championship

The list or bands and the adjudicators has been confirmed for the English National Championship in Preston in June.

English National
 

The list of competing bands at this year’s English National Championship has been released.

European qualification

The contest will take place at Preston Guild Hall on Saturday 23rd June and will see reigning champion Black Dyke up against a strong field of rivals to see who can claim their place as the English representatives at the 2013 European Championship in Oslo.

Set work

The set work for the contest is Philip Wilby’s ‘Masquerade’, which will be adjudicated upon by David Read MBE and Nigel Boddice OBE, whilst the own choice selections come under the scrutiny of Chris Wormald and Stephen Roberts.

The contest will commence at 10.00am with the test piece discipline with the own choice selections starting around at 2.30pm.
