2012 Tameside Open line up announced

The bands competing at this weekend's Tameside Open have been confirmed.

Over twenty bands will descend upon Dukinfield Town Hall on Sunday for the 2012 Tameside Open.

Lancashire support

The contest which is supported by Lancashire Contests will commence at 10am with the 4th Section and conclude with the Championship Section around 4pm.

Amongst the competitors are eight National finalists from the North West who'll be looking to build on their recent success.

Higginbottom to judge

Judging the various sections will be Gordon Higginbottom & Andrew Warriner.

Bands are reminded that with the clocks going forward, all start times will be BST.

Sunday's contest will feature 8 National finalists looking to build on their recent success4BR

3 grand up for grabs

There will be three thousand pounds in prize money up for grabs across the four sections.

The prize money for all Four Sections is as follows:

1st place: £400
2nd place: £200
3rd place: £150
