SWBBA offers new workshops with star players

The South West Brass Band Association is set to run two new workshops with star players David Thornton and Sheona White.

The Education and Training Programme offered by the South West Brass Band Association features three exciting workshops in 2012.

80 musicians

The recent 14th Mid-Winter Brass Workshop held over 2 days at the West Buckland School in North Devon attracted over 80 musicians of all ages and musical grades.

The appointed tutors Leonard Adams, Stan Lippeatt and Major Paul Norley, rehearsed a full band and sectional ensembles, which culminated in 12 items of newly published music being played in a mini-concert to a responsive audience of fellow band members, parents and friends of the participants.
