Alan Wycherley knows that being the best in the business takes years of practice and hard work, so he isn’t far off the truth when he tells 4BR: "It’s taken 40 years to make, but we think it’s going to be well worth the wait!"
Together
As previously revealed on 4BR, the three greatest soprano cornet players of the modern era have been brought together for a stunning recording project which is sure to become an instant hit with brass band lovers all over the world.

And appropriately enough Alan revealed that the CD is to be called, ‘Soprano Legends’ as he is joined by fellow hire wire virtuosi Peter Roberts and Kevin Crockford.
The CD is to be launched in the near future and will feature the trio in a ‘greatest hits’ release that will surely be hard to top.

Alan told 4BR: "We have worked hard to ensure that each of our six tracks showcase us playing at the top of our form. There are plenty of classic soprano solo of course, such a ‘Flowerdale’, ‘Queen of the Night’s Aria,’ and ‘Meditation from Thais’, but also many that people may not have heard before."
He added: "All three of us hope that it gives our fans from all over the world a chance to enjoy our playing once more."
