Grenland announces judges

An international panel of judges will adjudicate at the forthcoming Grenland Festival in Norway.

Grenland

The Grenland Festival in Norway has released details of its panel of adjudicators for the forthcoming contest in April this year.

Grown

The unique ‘three in one’ event has grown in importance in recent years, attracting not only the very best domestic bands but also competitors from the UK and mainland Europe.

The list of high profile adjudicators this year include the respected Norwegian duo of Arvid Anthun and Egil Magnussen as well as Scottish Brass Band Association Development Manager Andrew Duncan and conductor Garry Cutt.

Major contest

Festival Manager Ketil Klingberg told 4BR: "The Festival grows each year and is now seen as a major international contest. We are therefore delighted that we have been able to secure adjudicators who have an international reputation in the brass band world too."
