Woodfalls raise the Spinnaker for Devil

West of England champion set to open their doors and raise the Spinnaker ahead of title defence.

The reigning West of England champion Woodfalls has announced that they are teaming up with Spinnaker Brass to hold an open rehearsal on Tuesday March 6th.

Ideal opportunity

They hope the evening will be an ideal opportunity for Hampshire based brass band fans to get to know the area test pieces at both ends of teh contest spectrum ahead of the West of England Area Championship on the 10th & 11th March.

Woodfalls will be conducted by Dr Robert Childs, and will present their prepareations on 'The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea', whilst Spinnaker Brass, conducted by Sam Hairsine will perform, 'English Folk Song Suite' by Vaughan-Williams.

Details

The event starts at 7.30pm at the Lantern Theatre, Mountbatten School, Romsey. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome.
