The popular Hardraw Scar Brass Festival, which takes place at one of the most famous outdoor brass band venues anywhere in the world, is to feature in yet another television programme.
New series
For the past three years the event has featured in various broadcasts and this year will be included in a new series of programmes about the British countryside.
The 2011 contest will be included in the BBC's series, 'The Great British Countryside' to be transmitted on BBC 1 on Thursday, 23rd February at 8.00pm.

A spokesperson for the Yorkshire & Humberside Brass Band Association told 4BR: "It's encouraging that the contest has enjoyed a resurgence of interest in the past fews years.
