The Freckleton Band has welcomed two new faces to the ranks ahead of the North West Regional contest in Blackpool.

Experience

The vastly experienced John Squires-Evans joins on the front row after a break from banding of nearly four years. It will be his fourth stint as a player with the band.

Meanwhile, Shannon Harper joins on 3rd cornet from the Freckleton Youth Band. 12 year old Shannon is also a member of the National Children's Orchestra, Lancashire Schools Symphony Orchestra and plays hockey for Lancashire.
