Alex Caldon, a Trevor James associate artist has invited David Geoghegan, the London freelance trumpet & cornet player to Worldwind Music, the UK distributor of Trevor James instruments, to put the Trevor James Renaissance high brass instruments through their paces.
Respected
The highly respected trumpet player is well known to the banding world, having played with Black Dyke and becoming the principal cornet of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
David now enjoys a varied freelance career, performing with many of the leading professional orchestras in the UK and beyond.
High class
With 30 years of design experience, Trevor James knows how important it is to work closely with such high class players, to determine the designs and features required to create new standards in brass manufacturing.
With consultations with players such as David, Trevor James can continue to determine exactly where we stand in the marketplace and continually look at ways of improving existing products and target the areas where we can introduce new products.

Focus
David’s focus during his visit to Worldwind Music was to pay special attention to the Renaissance CT4500 & CT6500 cornets, and over the coming weeks to write a series of diary reviews of these instruments for you to read.
