Fairey set to unveil new home

The Fairey Band is putting the finals dabs of paint on their new home ahead of official opening.

Fairey

The Fairey Band is putting the final touches of decorating paint on the walls of their brand new bandroom, ahead of its official opening on Thursday 2nd February.

Culmination

It will be the culmination of a long rebuilding process that has occurred since the famous band lost its original rehearsal facility in flames in November 2010.

The ceremony at 7.00pm, which is open to any brass band supporter and Fairey's fan, will be made by Ian Wilson, Managing Director of WFEL Ltd, who will be cutting a ribbon and unveiling a commemorative plaque to mark the event.

Nibbles

The band itself will play a short concert whilst WFEL senior management and several ex-players and other friends of 'Faireys' enjoy wine and nibbles!
