Burry Port launch new initiative

Burry Port Town Band launch new youth music event in home town.

Burryport

Burry Port Town Band will launch their inaugural Solo & Ensemble Day on Saturday 4th February, at the Memorial Hall in their home town.

Well supported

With Solo, Duet, Trio and Ensemble Classes for young players and more experienced players the band hope that the event will be well supported by brass players from schools, ensembles and bands from the South Wales area.

We are giving youngsters a new and exciting platform to perform. The musical benefits for each individual are obvious and the experience will also enhance them educationally and sociallyMD, Michael Thorne

I look forward to a truly memorable and musically rewarding day."

The band have engaged Tom Davoren and Alan Bourne to do the judging for the day.
