Salford announces BASBWE finalists

The three finalists for the Salford University BASBWE Composer's Competition have been announced.

The finalists for the Salford-BASBWE Composer's Competition have been announced.

Premieres

Franner Otter, Karl Wheelan and Stephen Richardson have been invited to a workshop with the Central Band of the RAF and will also have their works premiered at a special concert on the 15th of February hosted at the University of Salford in partnership with BASBWE and Kirklees Music.

A £500 cash prize and publishing contract with Kirklees Music will be awarded to the winning composer4BR

Winning entry

The winning entry will be announced at the conclusion of the concert by a panel comprising Dr Nigel Clarke, Professor Peter Graham and Dr Peter Meechan. A £500 cash prize and publishing contract with Kirklees Music will be awarded to the winning composer.
