Rising brass stars James Fountain (cornet), Ross Knight (tuba) and the combined talents of the Carnoustie & District Youth Band are already recipients of their category awards.

They take to the stage at The Royal Northern College of Music's Festival of Brass as 'Soloist of the Year under 18', Soloist of the Year under 21' and 'Youth Brass Band of the Year'.

Frank Renton and Simone Rebello present their performances in an exciting concert of young brass talent as we find out who will receive the coveted Overall Award for 2012.
