Camborne pack in the signings

Camborne set for 2012 with a host of new signings.

Camborne Town Band has announced a number of new signings – the most recent being Chris Leonard, Nigel Chadd and Matt Julian.

Return

Chris re-joins the cornet front row whilst Nigel returns on tuned percussion. Matt Julian joins on Bb Bass and from the organisation’s successful Youth Band and having previously played for the Lanner & District.

Past year

During the past year the band has also signed Steve Hawkey former principal cornet of the Bodmin Band, Richard Hawkey Ross Buist and Rory Abbott who return on euphonium, horn and percussion respectively, as well as Dave Barnes and Marcus Dunstan on back row cornet.

First it is Yeovil and then we welcome back professional conductor Gary Cutt for the Area."

March 8 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meet every other monday morning(nxt one this monday) and we are looking for CORNET PLAYERS to join us.. you do not need to change your affiliation as we just offer free fun music making with cake and coffee thrown in.


Wakefield Metropolitan Brass Band

March 8 • Wakefield Metropolitan are looking for Bass player and percussionist to help the band move forward after a promising area performance


Ilkeston Brass

March 7 • Ilkeston Brass is a friendly 4th section band based in the SE of Derbyshire. We are looking for cornet players to continue our long heritage of brass banding. Cornet seat negotiable!
