Old Hall Brass has announced the signing of Debbie Williams on soprano cornet.

Debbie returns to Old Hall from Longridge Band, with whom she won the ‘Best Soprano’ award at the Northern Open in November.

Father and son

Meanwhile, father and son duo of Chris Lloyd (Bb bass), and Jack Lloyd (3rd cornet), as well as Stephen Elliot (2nd horn), join from Old Hall Community Band.

Band spokesperson Paul Sudworth told 4BR: "Old Hall Brass is now looking forward to the upcoming Preston contest and the North West Areas Championships at Blackpool."
