East London Brass will be performing the premiere arrangement of Bruckner's ‘Mass in E’ (originally written for winds and brass) for brass band and choir, with the QC Chamber choir in February.
Exciting project
MD Jayne Murrill told 4BR: "This is a very exciting project, and I’ve been busy getting the arrangement together over the Christmas break.
This is part of East London's musical progression, and we are all looking forward to our first year in the Championship Section areas alongside an exciting concert in June for the John Ireland Music Festival in Chelsea."

Real pleasure
The Bruckner Mass will be conducted by the MD of the QC Choir, Matthew Manchester, who added: "I used to play with East London Brass when I first came over to the UK from Australia, and joined just before the band went on it's amazing contesting run from the Second Section.
It’s a real pleasure that I'm able to work with these talented musicians once more, and the choir and I are looking forward to this collaboration."
